MELBOURNE – 2ND August 2021 - Australian international chef TV host and restauranteur Sarah Todd is the queen of reinvention. Her meteoric rise to the top of the international food scene since her debut on MasterChef Australia six years ago is a perfect example as she has seamlessly worked her way from high-fashion model to an in-demand international chef with a sophisticated brand. In August 2021 Sarah will launch her own exclusive handmade spice range here in Australia. The blends are unparalleled, focusing on the highest quality ingredients: rich, aromatic, distinct colour, and flavour. Ever conscious of using fresh ingredients and sustainably sourced products, Sarah has worked closely with select farmer co-ops in India, to procure the best organic, sustainable products for this range. These fragrant spice mixes have then been lovingly created by Sarah herself using a different level of spiciness from a lively vindaloo to a seafood masala!
The spices are hand-ground, which is the most effective way to allow the natural oils of spices to release and sees that the texture has a much more natural variance in grinds. Some of the spices in the blends are roasted which creates an even greater depth of flavour! Combining individual flavours, Sarah brings a unique approach to blending using her vast knowledge of these spices gained during extensive travels across India, the land of spices, over the past six years.
Sarah is currently appearing as a host on Network Ten’s afternoon cooking show, Farm to Fork and has firmly established herself at the top of the global Indian food scene since her MasterChef Australia debut in 2014. She now runs two highly successful restaurants in India and is in-demand across the globe as a renowned chef, tv host and influencer. Sarah’s classical skills honed from Le Cordon Bleu, combined with her extensive travels across India and the world have influenced her unique cooking style.
